Putting Things In Storage?

I need to know what to pack my things in.
I will need to store clothing,TV and shoes for a year or two.
Can bugs get into the plastic storage bins?

I used rubber maid containers to store ‘my life’ for almost 3 years… I did seal with duct tape… also I dropped a couple of fabric softener sheets in every box to help aid freshness…
when the stuff came out it didnt smell like the fabric softener but nor did it smell disgusting :-)
also found that the sterite (sp) containers which were cheaper to purchase did not have the structural stability of rubber maid…
if i had to do it again… the rubbermaids would be on the bottom with the sterite on top filled only with light items.
oh and do your self a big favor… get a sharpie and write on the duct tape what is in each container… because after a period of time you will never remember what is in which
    :-)

I think the Rubbermaid plastic storage bins would be best. I don’t think bugs can get into them?! Seal the lid with duck tape just to be sure!
